Greetings and welcome to K1KMO!

Many have been asking me about emergency and earthquake preparedness and what they can do and what resources to get. Emergency preparedness is not paranoia and is not based in fear. It is based in the reality that disasters and emergencies, from little to big, happen all of the time. It could be a cut or it could be an earthquake. The key is being ready in the event that something happens. Our parents led us through fire drills when we were kids and this is simply no different.

So…this is my site dedicated to all things Ham Radio in Los Angeles and Disaster Preparedness. This site will be continuously updated with events and new resources, so check back often!
